Description

Paola Di Bella, a Sicilian singer and performer based in Belgium, has conceived a unique concept for her upcoming album ET_NA: ‘Sicilefuturism’. In it, she creates a dialogue between her Sicilian musical heritage and her vision as a woman and citizen of the world. Each track unfolds like a theatrical performance, where the music serves as a backdrop for real or little-known stories.

From unconventional lullabies and socially conscious anthems to orchestral bursts evoking the sea, the album unfolds a palette of raw emotions. Two covers of the iconic Rosa Balistreri (Mamma and Cu ti lu dissi) anchor this narrative in tradition.

Drawing on her family history, Paola Di Bella summons ancestors, landscapes and memories. She delivers a vibrant sensory experience that transcends language barriers to speak directly to the senses and the intuition.
