Le Festival d’Art is celebrating its 40th birthday in 2024 with a new name and a revamped image! But why “Les Polysons”? Because this name represents perfectly the musical identity of the project, which has long championed a wide diversity of sounds, instruments and musical traditions within its programme.
The main project, the festival, takes place every year during the second half of August. The festival features six evenings of concerts dedicated to music and voices from around the world in venues filled with history and magic in the town of Huy.
Les Polysons are now developing cultural initiatives all year round. These include concerts in unusual locations or in collaboration with cultural partners. The new team also organises musical encounters between musicians and audiences from social organisations.
Music everywhere and for everyone !
For a long time now, our non-profit organisation has been promoting traditional music from all around the world, beyond the concert halls. Having taken over many of Huy’s heritage venues, it seemed obvious to us to go beyond that target and meet Huy’s organisations, social associations and audiences.
